My photography workshops are designed for the digital nature photographer, beginning or advanced, interested in finding and expanding their creative vision. In addition to being a widely published professional nature photographer, I am an experienced instructor, both in the classroom and the field. Custom Workshops

Interested in getting off the beaten path and having a photographic adventure? Or are you just looking for some one-on-one time with a skilled instructor? Or do you belong to a camera club and are interested in hiring Ian for an inspiring lecture followed by some field instruction? Ian is available for custom workshops, which allow you (and maybe a few friends) personal instruction free from the constraints of a group workshop. Private workshops are tailored to your individual goals and abilities. At your choosing, you can opt for backcountry adventure or roadside touring—it's entirely up to you! If you are looking for adventure, Ian is a skilled outdoorsman with years of hiking, backpacking, and kayaking experience. If dedicated instruction is more to your liking, Ian can meet you at your chosen location for some hands-on training.  

Prices 

1 Participant: $500/day (plus travel expenses if applicable)

2-3 Participants: $450/day, per person (plus travel expenses if applicable)

4-5 Participants: $400/day, per person (plus travel expenses if applicable)

6 or more participants/camera clubs: Inquire for rates.
