LOUDS
FLOW BENEATH ME LIKE WATER IN A RUSHING SPRING STREAM AS
THE WORLD DARKENS. I stand atop Clingmans
Dome, the highest point in the Great Smoky Mountains, looking
down upon a milky sea of rolling mist, mountain tops poking out
like islands in a storm. A thirty second exposure reveals the
colors of twilight, and paints the landscape with blue brush
strokes. April 2009, Great Smoky Mountains National Park,
Tennessee/North Carolina.
