PHANTASMAGORIA IS A "SHIFTING SERIES OF PHANTASMS, ILLUSIONS, OR DECEPTIVE APPERANCES, AS IN A DREAM OR AS CREATED BY THE IMAGINATION." The word sprang into my mind as I struggled to angle my camera, pointing straight up, in order to photograph these colorful and twisting sandstone walls.
