Royal Terns, Smith Island, Chesapeake Bay

I just got back from leading my annual Smith Island Chesapeake Bay photo workshop. Simple Pleasures

I spent three years photographing my book Chesapeake: Bay of Light. It was an intensely demanding project, requiring almost full-time effort, but I loved every minute of it.
