Coming Soon to a Desert Near You: Arizona Wildflowers

The Holiday season has come and gone, leaving most of us feeling good but fairly exhausted. Winter has most of the country currently in its grip, and if you count yourself as one of those housebound by the cold, I offer you this little diversion–the Arizona Wildflower Season in March, when the lush Sonoran Desert is carpeted with an amazing variety of wildflowers. It is one of the premier seasonal wildflower displays to happen anywhere in the world.

Dreamscapes Blogger Kurt Budliger and myself are leading a workshop (Dreamscapes Arizona Wildflower Workshop) right into the heart of wildflower country, the central Arizona deserts. We will be centrally located so we can jump off to wildflower hotspots in any direction. Of course, we will  be shooting one of the great desert icons of all time, the Superstition Mountains at the Lost Dutchman State Park. Now, if while we are out shooting, one of our clients should stumble onto the Dutchmans’ (aka Jacob Waltz) lost gold mine, well, it’s finders-keepers for sure. So treat yourself to something special right at the start of the New Year!
